14/09/2017 – The Italian Job – Day 5 (Thursday) – Val d’Orcia
Today we took a drive around the designated UNESCO heritage area of Val d’Orcia this is a wonderful place for landscape images although not necessary at this time of year. We took a circular drive from our campsite taking in the village of Bagno Vignoni, this was a village with ancient sulphuric springs whkch were used by the Romans .The baths/spa remains in the centre of the village.
